My Story

There are artists who create with their hands, and then there are artists who create with their soul.

Hi, I’m Victoria — founder of Kimstudio, a lash artist and educator based in Canberra, Australia. I began my journey in the beauty industry at just 15 years old, driven by creativity, curiosity, and the courage to pursue something that felt deeply personal.

Beauty was never just an interest for me. It was a refuge — a quiet space where I could create, express myself freely, and feel completely present. What began as a teenage passion slowly grew into a career built on artistry and connection.

But as my business grew, so did the pressure. Fully booked days, rising expectations, and the familiar weight of imposter syndrome slowly dimmed the spark I once felt when I first picked up my tweezers.

There was a moment when I considered walking away entirely. Instead, I did something many artists rarely allow themselves to do — I paused.

Stepping back from the noise, the deadlines, and the pursuit of perfection allowed me to reconnect with why I fell in love with this craft in the first place.

And in that moment, everything changed.

Beyond her signature artistry, Victoria now shares her craft through her advanced training, The Art of Anime — a program designed for lash artists ready to expand their creativity and push the boundaries of lash design. While many see anime lashes as a trend, Victoria teaches it as a discipline — a technique built on intentional structure, precise detailing, and artistic vision. Through her program, artists learn the architecture behind anime sets, from weight balance and spiking structure to directional flow and character-inspired styling. More than technique, the training invites artists to create with purpose — developing confidence, creative freedom, and their own signature interpretation of anime artistry.

Kimstudio’s first chapter begins with the Camellia Collection — handpicked lash trays designed to complement anime techniques while giving artists the freedom to create their own signature style.

Inspired by the soft layering of camellia petals, the collection is centered on balance, dimension, and control — the essentials behind textured, expressive, character-driven sets.

Thoughtfully developed with the artist in mind, Camellia reflects the heart of Kimstudio: creativity, precision, and products made to support artistry beyond the ordinary.
